05 May 2012 Tully Trail, Massachusetts
A friend and I were saying that we both wanted to put a 20+ mile hike under our boots for the first time in quite a while. With the early spring, this seemed like a great way to give an early kick-start to the hiking season. We had been thinking about the Wapack Trail but decided that the Tully Trail made more sense given our current level of training. We set out on a damp, foggy Saturday morning and ended the day, eleven hours and thirty minutes (twenty-two miles) later, under warm evening sun. Here are some scenes from the day.
